- How does your money back guarantee work?If your tracking does not work as expected, please drop us an email and we will look into it. Third party plugins, shopping carts and booking engines can mean technical limitations or that developer assistance is required. In any case if your tracking does not work as expected or meet your needs, we offer a full 30 day money back guarantee on all orders - no questions asked. This way you have nothing to lose when working with Tag Ninja.
- How does your 1 year warranty work?If anything breaks with your tracking within 1 year of your initial order due to platform changes or requirements, we will fix it free of charge. Please note that developer changes or switching over to a new website are excluded from this warranty.
- What platforms do you support?We support all of the main ecommerce and web builder platforms including Shopify, Woo Commerce, Wix, SquareSpace, WordPress, Big Commerce and Magento.
- Will you need our passwords?In most cases, no. You simply add us as a user to your existing properties and once we’re done, you simply revoke the access.
- Can you deal with custom sites or complex tracking needs?
It depends on your exact needs, what third party apps / plugins you’re using, and how your site was built. Please get in touch so we can discuss.
- Do you work with agencies?Yes, we are the go-to-resource for a bunch of agencies. We take care of the tracking needs for their clients on a white label basis, so they can focus on delivering results, rather than messing with tags and scripts.
- What is the difference between server side and client side tracking?Client-side tracking, by directly collecting data from the user's browser using scripts, typically provides richer, more detailed analytics data on user behavior and interactions. However, it's more susceptible to iOS restrictions like Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), which can limit the effectiveness of cookies and data collection, potentially impacting the quality and completeness of analytics data. Server-side tracking, by processing data on the server, offers a way around some of these limitations, ensuring more reliable data collection in the face of privacy measures by platforms like iOS. It offers enhanced security, better performance, and greater control over data but might not capture the breadth of user interactions that client-side tracking can. Please note that you will need a third party service such as Stape.io or Google Cloud Platform for server-side tracking. Additional payment will be required to the vendor, depending on your choice of plan and traffic levels. For most clients this usually costs in the region of $20-50 per month.
- How long does it take?Most orders are completed within 2-3 working days, excluding UK public holidays. Complex setups can take a little longer. This time frame begins after we have received access to all relevant properties. Please communicate with us by replying to your order confirmation email so that we can keep track of all correspondence.
- What events can you track?On ecommerce sites we can track all standard events including product view, add to cart clicks, cart view, checkout, purchase, newsletter signup. On lead generation sites we can track calls, emails, form completions, page views, downloads, and more. We can also track other custom goals, please contact us for more information.
- Can you help us to understand our reports and data?We are considering providing a low cost retainer service for SMEs where we can help you to make sense of your data, create custom reports, etc. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in.
